i would, if i could..

mum, dad n sis juz had a rather loud discussion regarding the allowance tat my sis gives to them every month.. apparently my mum is asking for more becoz even though my sis's pay has rise by 1k, n my mum has stopped working for a few months now, the amount is still the same. well, if only i aint studying now, perhaps i could hav helped things out. both sides hav their points, n while i disagree wif sis's rather extravegant lifestyle of clubbing 1 to 2 times per week, i guess its only her right to spend her money.. i guess tats really the difference btw gg to an elite school n a neighbourhood sch.. one where u're forced to b so selfish n self-centered, than one where u r imparted wif more human-like thinking.. or mayb its me.. in an ideal scenario, i would like to divide my paycheck into 3 equal portions: one third for my own expenditure n savings, one third for my parents, n another one third to different meaningful charities. as such, it is gg to b v unlikely tat i'll ever own a car, thus the indifference to getting a license, as well as the tendancy to sting while i can. however, we all noe juz how far frm ideal the realistic world can b.. but we shall see.. anw, there's still 2yrs left to get rid of b4 i can really get a proper paycheck, but let's juz hope its at least 3k a month.. doesnt matter if i hav to travel to jurong evryday, nor if i hav to work longer hours, juz something tat i'm okay wif doing, n a big fat paycheck.. such, is the reality tat we live in..





completed my 2nd ever marathon. with a timing tat is about 10mins slower than 2yrs ago.. back then i was physically much fitter, but now i'm mentally much much more stronger.. there was no doubt ever in my mind tat i would complete the race. in such marathons, the only competitor is u urself. when we see others limping along, or fallen to the ground doing some stretching, we're in no position to laugh or to judge them.. afterall, this, is their race. u nv noe how much difficulty they've gone thru juz to b there.. much like myself, i'm pretty sure plenty of others would hav noticed/were amused by my handswinging, especially coupled with my brisk walking.. but then, it was my own way to keep myself frm stopping, n to maintain a faster than normal pace.. if i could hav ran, i would hav. but my knees were telling me otherwise, way b4 the race even started.. so in the end, i did wad my knees could accept n i'm glad tat i did so without ever giving up.





n frm this race, i hav learnt something as well. n it is tat when we stop to take a break, it spoils all momentum. i told myself tat i would take a 5mins break at the turning point, juz so tat i could rest my body for the returning 21km.. bad decision. stood up after the rest n i immediately felt the blisters under my soles, as well as the soreness in the joints. i guess a better strategy would hav been to walk till juz b4 my body's limits b4 stopping for tat break.. i think this applies to life as a whole as well. no matter how well deserved u may feel a break is, do not take it unless u've reached ur goal or ur body is breaking down.. its amazing how capable our mind works, as it is with faith n religion.





n onto the subject of religion, there r some things tat i would need to let u noe. i was going to wait till after the 9th, but i guess tats probably not neccessary now. i dun wan u to b mentally unprepared, so u should probably log in to my account n read it urself. it hasnt been easy, but it has to be one way or the other.. i'm sorry tat i lied, but everything i did, i did it with the bigger picture in mind.. someday, mayb dreams will come true. but we all noe juz how slim tat chance is ever going to b..





on the same note, i shall pronounce this as the end to this blog. frens who still hav an interest in my new address when i do set up one, pls sms or email me to ask for it. would b rather dumb if i go arnd telling others on my own accord. basically all i ask for is tat u would not link me frm anywhere n obviously pls dun tell others of my address. apparently i dun like to refrain frm typing wad i feel n thus my contents r not suitable for everyone. i thank all of u for ur time here n hopefully my habit of blogging will not die off tgt with this blog. goodbye people!
