23rd birthday resolutions... n updates.

alright. been awhile since my bday passed. had a wonderful celebration wif anza.. enjoyed being tricked, n definitely enjoyed the night at the beach.. =) having said that, i think its about time i write down my bday resolutions in black n white so tat i hav no excuse of not striving to achieve them! ^^

firstly, Hair for Hope. for those who hav no idea wad this is about, ownself go google! =p anw really wish to dare to sign up for this event nxt year. for those who thinks tat its quite dumb to take part in this in wanting to help those in need, i agree. however, its not about shaving away ur hair to look like them n raise wadever money it can do, its about raising the awareness of this whole event.. its about letting the general public noe tat there r ppl out there much less fortunate than them.... n perhaps oso becoz i dun really giv a damn about my hair n thus saves me the trouble of having to worry about it for a few months. hehh

100km of runs clocked. it may not be alot, but at least its something. frm 1st sep 10 to 31st aug 11, i hope to hav clock a minimum of 100km in terms of races n runs. this is non-inclusive of the distances i run on my own, which has alr become a rarity for me these days... juz a small note, alr completed AHM (21km) n Real Run (15km) le.. which means i hav another 64km to go! which is made even harder given tat most probably i wont be running stanchart in dec.. tats 42km down the drain......

IPPT silver. this is a tough one, definitely. in keeping with my post-ORD resolutions of maintaining my physical fitness at the level i left the army with, it is of great shame tat i report tat i could only clear my first year with a pass. chin-up n 2.4km cmi.. will hav to really find time to train up n den clear for my silver.. window closes in less than 10mths time. comeon, extra $100 as additional incentive u noe! lol

100days of posts. oh well, if u had read my aug entries, u would hav realized i was trying to keep track of the number of posts regarding how i helped strangers in evryday life.. however, i guess i'm simply not tat great afterall. the enthuaism died off n i simply gav up on this resoultion after tat.. ambitious, but perhaps juz not in me to be tat guy.. oh well~~

a family trip in jan 11, with a portion paid by me.. this year being my dad's 60th birthday, i'm kind of ashamed tat we as his children r unable to throw a bash for him.. bash as in really big scale, invite frens n relatives type... so maybe the nxt best way for him to enjoy himself is perhaps for our whole family to go for a holiday somewhere ba.. our one n only family trip involving all 6 of us is i tink when i was in pri sch.. to genting wif my dad's fren's family tgt... after tat, its been bits n parts of the family at diff places.. my dad n my sisters in france, n oso my sister, mum n me in hk.. oso got times when my mum n elder sis went bintam or where.. oh well, i guess having such a big family n being a taxi driver has its limitations in financial terms.. therefore really hope to hav a part in paying for the trip, provided there's even such a trip in the first place. hai.. dunoe how to go about it oso.. till now only raised it once or twice but oso like not taken seriously... tskkk.

treat shermain better. yup, tats right. she deserves better from me.. for wadever i did last sem, i really hav to improve to be a better fren.. no words can describe the guilt tat struck me the moment i saw those grades, n i can only hope my actions can prove tat i'm really sorry...

a collection of weather-related newspaper clippings frm 1st sep 10 to 31st aug 11. in a bid to be more aware of the happenings in our earth, i've made myself start to cut out the newspaper reports on natural disasters such as but not exclusive, floods, earthquakes, typhoons, landslides.. currently only limited to the newpaper as tats the only newspaper i read on a regular basis.. though i realized tat not all the happenings r reported in tat newspaper. maybe nxt yr onwards i'll change it to straits time instead, but tat'll probably require even more time to read thru evry day n oso to purchase it..

with that, i shall now clear up some issues i left hanging a few posts ago..

firstly, on my reluctance to get a laptop. n yes, its becoz of money. as mentioned in one of my resolutions, i really hav to save up if i were to contribute anything towards the family trip. in fact, up till now i haven even been saving up! i'm even having trouble juz making sure my bank balance doesnt go down, so i really cannot afford to spare much cash for getting a new laptop. n yes, i do realize how much trouble this absence has caused me. in fact, the only factor tat made me consider getting one was becoz i knew this would happen if i didnt get one. gone r the days tat i'm online evry night. so too r the days tat we would converse on msn. n with tat, gone too is the relationship we once shared n can only now look back n ponder. yes, gone. how else r we to explain the awkardness right now..

nxt will be about my white eyelashes of my right eye. seriously, i hav no idea when it started to change colour.. hahaha. all i noe is tat a few months ago when i was first made aware of it, there were only 3 strands.. now more than half of the eyelashes r white... zzz. but anw, as is with my hair, eyelashes r juz something tat is immaterial to me. it is juz some dead hair growing out of the follicles, i dun really care wad colour they r.. my physical appearance has never ranked highly for me to care tat much. i seriously even doubt i'll hav noticed it if people didnt tell me. hahaha. oh well, if its the outstanding thing about me, y shld i even go make it back black?? lol.. n come to think of it, they only turned white after june!! LOL

lastly, my senior's failed r/s... its been awhile alr.. n still, its ongoing. seriously, accept the fact tat its over. it'll nv be the same again. n tat while not giving up is good, knowing when to giv up is even better. even i'm tired of hearing all the same old things frm u again. somehow, no1 is able to help u get over if u urself aint gonna try. we can only provide u wif so much attention.. n my limit's been reached. till the day u find urself out of the pit, all i can say is i wish tat u will get over it soon....

n now i know, that its nv going to be the same again.. ever. =(
