taiwan 2009!!!

alrite people. have been back frm taiwan for close to a week liao. kinda lazy to log into blogger to blog about my trip coz the fotos i haven even go facebook kope. bud since now tat i'm at jj hse wif nobody else bud myself, i shall blog a little bit about the trip. anw for fotos pls refer to the albums available in facebook. hahaha.

so day 1, 8th june - shilin market
met n shared cab to airport t3 to eat the popeye there. after which meet up wif the gals n checked in. plane take off, plane land. n welcome to taiwan!
so we headed to a corner of the airport where the gals go buy local sim card. den we decided to take a mini-van to our hotel(motel) at xi men ding. come to tink of it, is quite the exp. 3000nt for to&fro. worse ting is our mini-van is "illegal" one. so when we board the van got taiwan TP stop the driver n fine him. den still ask us to go take proper cab. bud since we paid the $ alr, we called the driver after tat. den he go another part of the airport to pick us up. haha. the ride there damn funny. coz i gave my passport to the TP, the driver only noe my name. den he on the way tat time ask me to go fotocopy my passport let him go appeal. den he kept tinking i sitting at the rear when i'm actually beside him. so he keep calling "chen jun liang" den i keep answering bud he tot is not me. den he finally realised tat i'm chen jun liang den he say how come different frm juz now one. damn funny.
so reached our hotel den checked in. end up we got the big room for 4 den add 1 bed. 2480nt per nite plus 500nt for the bed. den cf n amy get a 1480nt per nite room for their er-ren shi jie. actually is not bad la the hotel. spacious n sumore our bathroom the bathtub got jacuzzie. bud the showerhead on day 1 to 3 spoil so bath must use a pail to scope the water n bath. damn mafan.
so after awhile we head down to xi men ding area walk alr. first ting go eat the ah chung mee sua alr. not bad actually. den after tat walk abit den proceed to take mrt to shilin market. we alighted at a station b4 shilin coz frm there walk thru shilin better. den ate at the market the local food n the chicken cutlet. after tat walk walk thru shilin. actually i find like nth much to c there. den saw an area where they selling pets. got cats got dogs got hamster got rabbit got some exotic animals oso. got goat inside one shop sumore. hahaha. after tat i tink we cabbed back coz beyond mrt operating hrs liao.
so tats all for day 1 in taiwan.

day 2 - fisherman wharf, partyworld
so rise n shine at abt 9+am. went down xi men to find food den end up ate mac. there quite cheap. bud must clear tray after tat. haha. den afterwhich we went to change money coz some of us haven change. den the rate tat the hotel auntie recommend us cmi. so we went find the bank. den the bank found liao den told us wan change nid go the main bank change. so end up walk arnd the area for quite long. end up the rate there S$1 is to $22NT nia. at s'pore change was arnd 1:22.15 the best rate. so end up suck thumb change there.
after tat took mrt to danshui to go the fisherman's wharf. walked arnd outside the station there. got a "museum" sort of ting. inside all the funny funny exibits. den after tat took cab to the fisherman wharf. reached there about 4+pm. abit too early. end up cant find the big tom icecream n the sun so hot. somemore too early for sunset. so end up we took the ferry service back to danshui. den at danshui walked the shops along the riverside.
den took mrt back to xi men to find dinner. ate at the modern toilet shop. food okay only. is the "unique" atmosphere tat's refreshing la. haha.
afterwhich later on at nite went to partyworld to sing K. total 5hrs each person arnd S$25+ nia. still got 12cans of beer n 2 plate of fingerfood. very worth it as compared to s'pore la. somemore the room got quality one. haha.
oh just in case i forgot to mention, if those gg taiwan plan to take mrt quite often, just go get the ez-link equivilent card at their mrt stations. 500NT den if nv use finish can go change back for cash on last day.

n i'm tired to carry on wif day3 n etc. some other time i guess. haha.

n i passed my basic theory test after doing 50mins of practice b4 the test. i tink i scored 49/50 lar. wth. hahaha.
n oso my job interview went okay i tink. hope they wan me. coz its $8 per hr n do pipette nia. hahaha. sumore is 5to9pm wkdays. so hopefully when sch starts i still can find some days to go work so tat i can both self-sustain myself n oso start saving up to pay back my parents n my sch fees.

so tats all i hav to update for my recent life after ORD. hope to come back carry on my taiwan update soon ah. hahaha
