extracts frm a book

the book: why men can only do one thing at a time and women never stop talking.

women - spatially challenged.
spatial ability means being able to picture in the mind the shape of things, their dimensions, co-ordinates, proportions, movement and geography. it also involves being able to imagine an object being rotated in space, navigating around an obstacle course and seeing things in three-dimensions.
reading maps and understanding where u r relies on spatial ability. spatial ability is located in both brain hemispheres for women bud does not hav measurable locations as it does in males. only about 10% of women hav spatial abilities tat r as dynamic as those of the best men.
girls r excellent at seeing two dimenstions bud seeing in three dimenstions requires high spatial ability.
men - spatial champion.
brain scans show tat spatial ability is located mostly in the rite brain for men and boys. it developed frm ancient times to allow men, the hunters, to calculate the speed, movement and distance of prey, work out how fast they had to run to catch their targets, and know how much force they needed to kill their lunch wif a rock or a spear.
boys r far more able to see a third dimension, giving depth.

women - girl talk.
girls talk about who likes who or who is angry wif who. they play in small groups and share "secrets" about others as a form of bonding. as teenagers, girls talk about boys, weight, clothes and their frens. as adults, women talk about diet, personal relationships, marraige, children, lovers, personalities, clothes, the actions of others, workrelationships and anyting to do wif people and personal issues.
women rarely withhold when it comes to sex talk. they freely discuss techniques, strategies, times and sizes. and they are graphic in their descriptions.
the average length of a woman's telephone call is at least 18 mins.
men - boy talk.
boys talk about things and activities - who did wad, who is gd at someting and how tings work. as teenagers, they talk about sports, the mechanics and function of tings. as men they discuss sports, their work, news, what they did or where they went, technology, cars and mechanical gadgets.
men rarely discuss the intimate details of sex in case they dun match up to their mates' vital statistics.
the average length of a man's telephone call is less than 3 mins.

other interesting reads
if a woman is unhappy in her relationships, she cant concentrate on her work.
if a man is unhappy at work he cant focus on his relationships.

uptight women eat chocolate and invade shopping centres.
uptight men drink alcohol and invade other countries.

women's sex drive is like an electric oven - it heats slowly to its top temperature and takes a lot longer to cool down.
male sex drive is a like a microwave - it operates at full capacity within seconds, and can be turned off juz as quickly when the meal is cooked.

a woman's sex drive is significantly affected by events in her life. if she hates her job, the mortgage repayments hav juz doubled, the kids r sick, she was drenched in the rain or the dog ran away, sex will not even be a consideration.
when the same events happen to a man, he sees sex as a sleeping pill - a way of releasing the built-up tensions of the day.

most women prefer sex with the lights out - they cant bear to see a man enjoying himself.
men like sex wif the lights on - so tat they can get the woman's name rite.

how to satisfy a woman evry time - caress, praise, pamper, relish, savour, massage, fix tings, empathise, serenade, compliment, support, feed, soothe, tantalise, humour, placate, stroke, nuzzle, forgive, accessorise, entertain, charm, carry for, oblige, fascinate, attend to, trust, defend, clothe, brag about, sanctify, acknowledge, spoil, embrace, die for, dream of, tease, gratify, squeeze, indulge, idolise, worship.
how to satisfy a man evry time - arrive naked.

and finally
relationships become rocky when men and women fail to acknowledge they are biologically different and when each expects the other to live up to their expectations. much of the stress we experience in relationships comes from the false belief that men and women r now the same n hav the same priorities, drives and desires.
for the first time in human history, we r raising and educating boys and girls in identical ways, teaching them that they are the same and tat each is as capable as the other. then, as adults, they get married and wake up on emorning to find they are different to each other in every way, shape and form. it's little wonder tat young people's relationships and marriages are in such disastrous shape. any concept tat inisists on sexual uniformity is fraught with danger because it demands the same behaviour from both men n women, who hav very different brain circuitry. sometimes it's hard to understand y Nature would plan such apparent incompatibility between the sexes, but it only looks tat way because our biology is so at odds wif our current environment.
the good news is tat when u understand the origins of these differences, you not only find it easier to live wif them, u can manage, appreciate, and end up cherishing them too.
men wan power, achievement and sex. women wan relationships, stability and love. to feel upset about tis is as useful as abusing the sky for raining. accepting tat it rains allows u to cope wif the weather by carrying an umbrella or raincoat, so it is no longer a problem. in the same way, anticipating the difficulties or conflicts tat might arise in relationships as a result of our differences enables u to anticipate and defuse them as they occur.
maybe the best way to love somebody is to not have him/her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
tat way, u spare him/her any hurt tat u might cause.
the above extracts r some of which i either find them funny/interesting or i find them meaningful.. so if u ppl r really keen to read tis book, i tink popular got.. bud the price tag at the back of my book says $15.55... hahhaha.. anw tis book belongs to my bro n i dunoe y he spent tis much $ on it bud its quite interesting to read.. hahhaa
yet, all i want to do is to protect u frm other harm. take care please.
anw spent arnd $6 on ezlink fare ytd.. sengkang go tampines, den go simlim, den went sgrn central take bus go garden den came home.. n tat "ex-student" of the ALA school of talents tried to make both of us throw face when he gave $28 for a $18.55 bill thinking he paid $30... den end up we walk away tinking y the change is $8plus.. jialat.. no wonder he couldnt graduate frm the ALA school of talents.. hahaha.. anw dun choke on ur chilli crab ah.. hahha.. oh, n of coz thanks for the treat ah.. bud considering the number of times i've treated u n etc, maybe u shld be thanking me instead.. hahaha
